Development of the structure of processing pallets with the system of fixing them and fixing them on the machine table
Project description: The aim of the project will be to implement for the production of processing pallets with the system of fixing them and fixing them on the machine table. As a result, the technology previously available on the market will be significantly improved. At present, there is no manufacturer of machining tools for fixing and fixing processing pallets on the Polish market. So far, companies are forced to buy expensive equipment from abroad. The subject of this project will be based on fastening systems with so-called zero point. The essence of such systems is very accurate fixing and fixing with a positioning and fixing bolt and a modular plate mounted to the table, where the fixing pins are equipped with machining pallets or holders.
Planned effects: The production technology used, i.e. the use of commercial elements, will make it possible to use the company’s owned machinery park (lathe and CNC milling machine) without the need to purchase additional machines and equipment. It will be eliminated in the course of production of grinding, lapping and EDM machining operations, which has a number of potential threats both for the service and direct surroundings of the workplace.
After completing the research and implementation of the product from production, we plan to increase sales by 10% in the first year and 15% in the second year. Thanks to the project, employment in the company will be increased by 3 people.
The subject of the project boils down to the development of machining pallets together with a system for fixing and fixing them, which easily enable the automation of pallet exchange on milling machines and machining centers. Thanks to the new tooling solutions, routine machining operations can be carried out in the automated work mode after incurring relatively low investment costs. So far, such solutions have been used only in the most advanced milling centers, most often inaccessible to SMEs due to the huge costs (over PLN 1 million). The pallet system can be used to attach objects of various shapes and sizes. In the case of large dimensions, a set of several pallet fasteners or a combination of them is used. Combined pallets can have planes perpendicular to the table surface, which eliminates the use of other machining devices.

The increase in Castex's export through the implementation of the Go to Brand program
Project description: The main goal of the project is to promote the CASTEX product brand, the Polish Economy Brand and the increase in the company’s exports.
Quality objectives at the product level:
- Internationalization of the enterprise.
- Intensification of connections with our partners.
- Increased brand awareness of the company on selected target markets.
Quantitative goals at the result level:
- Increase in the value of revenues from exports (exact data are given in section X of the application.
- As part of the CASTEX project, it will aim at acquiring contractors and acquiring at least 8 new contracts.
The company will use the results achieved to further expand the company. Thanks to the increase in export revenues, the company will be able to expand into new employment markets of additional staff for export services. Thanks to greater recognition on foreign markets, CASTEX has a better chance of winning new export contracts.

Developing a mechanical design and making a prototype of a pallet loading device for zero points
Project description: The subject of the undertaking is the development of a new technology and product. In order to implement it, a mechanical design and a prototype of the device for loading pallets for zero points based on the necessary technical assumptions will be made.
Project goal: The main objective of the project is to strengthen the competitiveness of CASTEX in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship thanks to cooperation with a research unit leading to the development of an innovative technology and product.
